Inspector
Your Challenge:
Verify machine setups using special or conventional inspection devices
Inspect characteristics associated with the weld process and inspect base material using special or conventional inspection equipment. Perform liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle inspection in accordance with applicable internal procedure and customer specifications.
Verify, audit, and review process documentation, parameters, and charts to assure that processing is performed within applicable specification requirements.
Inspect simple manufacturing tooling such as cutting tools, assembly fixtures, and machining fixtures.
Perform inspections of individual components or subassemblies in order to verify proper fit up or assembly and/or to provide data for special machining.
Your Expertise:
Minimum of high school diploma or its equivalent gained through training and/or experience in mechanical areas, shop mathematics, including basic algebra and trigonometry. Completion of a four-year machine shop or inspection apprentice program or equivalent or completion of two-year associate degree, certification program, or equivalent in metrology
Ability to read blueprints for machined parts. Minimum of one year inspection experience
Applicants must adhere to health and safety requirements, be team oriented and flexible to working different shifts and overtime
